Act IV: Helen in Troy

The original people of Troy were Luwian
from Anatolia.
The Trojan wars which took place around
1200 BC started in a dispute between three
Gods; Here, Athena and Aphrodite over who
was to have a golden apple. The Trojan
Prince PARIS asked to be the judge . Here
promised him power, Athena promised him
wealth, and Aphrodite promised him the
most beautiful woman. Paris chose Aphrodite
who has promised him Helen the most
beautiful woman. At that time ,described in
Iliad as “The face which launched 1000
ships” .
However, there was a problem, Helen was
the wife of Greek king Menelaus. 
 
Trojan Horse
The Troy king Priam sent his son Paris as peace ambassador to Greece. Paris seduced
this beautiful woman Helen by the help of the goddess Aphrodite and abducted her to
Troy with her jewellery by ship. They both fell in love with each other.
The ‘Helen of Troy’ story is the subject of Homer’s Iliad and Odysseus.

Scene 1 Paris enters the stage, whom to give the ‘Golden Apple’ story.
Scene 2 Paris and Helen enter Troy, meeting his family.
Scene 3 Helen is upset and wants to go back. Paris sings ‘ Helen’ song
Scene 4 Wedding of Paris and Helen with ‘Chayda chira’ song
Scene 5 Hector and Achilles fight
Scene 6 Wooden horse on stage and massacre. Helen sings ‘ Who killed my Paris’ .
